Certificate signed by Jerusalem sages (including the holy Gaon, author of Hasulam) on the receipt of support from the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak HaCohen Kook. A very significant historic document.
A list from 1928, on the official stationery of Rabbi Kook, chief rabbi of Eretz Israel, confirming that the heads of several well-known Jerusalem families received 5 English pounds from the estate of Moses Montefiore.
Among the signatories are very important rabbinical figures, including: Rabbi Zalman Brizel, of Chassidut Karlin, Rabbi Chaim Shlomo Rosenthal, the father of Rabbi Avraham Dov Rosenthal, the head of the Beit Din in Jerusalem. Particularly prominent is the signature of the Kabbalist Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Leib Ashlag, author of HaSulam, a commentary on the Zohar.
the Kabbalist Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Leib Ashlag (1885-1956) was born in Poland, and from a young age devoted all his energies to learning Kabbala.
