Confirmation of Receiving Money from 'Ezrat Torah' Signed by the Holy Gaon Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda Halberstam of Shinava, Sanz, 1928.
The Holy Gaon wrote the document during the lifetime of his father and before he was appointed Admor. He expresses his gratitude for receiving a donation of 10 dollars and blesses those who assist with many warm blessings.
The Holy Gaon Rabbi Yekutiel Yehuda Halberstam (1893-1943) the son of the Holy Rabbi Aryeh Leibush Mordechai of Shinava (the grandson of the Holy Rabbi author of Divrei Yechezkel, the rabbi of thousands of Hassidim who dollowed him). In 1912, he married the daughter of Rabbi Shmuel Shapiro Av Beis Din of Redim. After his father's passing, he succeeded him as the Admor of Shinava yet remained to live in Sanz (Novi Sanz in Polish; therefore, the words "New Sanz" appear on his stamp). He perished with his family in the Holocaust.
