Rare: Machzor for High Holidays, Shapira press [which was in Slavita], Jozefof 1844.
Machzor “for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur according to the Russian-Lithuanian-Polish minhag with commentary in Hebrew and a Yiddish commentary written in the spoken language of the day, with niqqud…printed in Jozefof using the press from Slavita, overseen by the rabbis Hanina Lifa Shapira…”. [2], 164 leaves. National Library categorizes it as a rare book. Title page in red ink. No binding, tears and folds in the first and last pages, stains, overall good condition.
