‘Traduccion in Espanol Di Hashem Shamati Shma’acha’, Ladino translation of the piyyut said on the High Holidays—Constantinople 1920(?)
A page with the piyyut “Hashem Shamati Shma’acha Yirati Hashem”, translated into Ladino. This anonymous piyyut was translated by the poet Hayyim Yerushalmi, it is traditionally said in Sefardi communities on the High Holidays before the Chazarat HaShatz. On the page is a sticker with the name of the piyyut and the place of printing, by the ‘Imprimiriya Al-Khahir press”. Printed on two leaves that were separated. Folding creases and tears in the folds and edges. Size: 16.5x24.5cm.
