Complete set in handsome leather bindings—4 volumes of Tanach, Amsterdam 1617.

4 large volumes in handsome leather bindings holding all of Torah, Neviim, Ketuvim, “as printed the first time in the Bombirgi printing house, with translation and commentaries and many grammarians”, by Pietro and Lorenzo Bragadin. Handsome frame for the first letter on each volume, printed in Venice.

Part 1: Five Books of Torah, 1617. [6], 228 leaves.

Part 2: First Prophets. 1617. [1], 234-441 leaves. In the original there was an additional page not forming the body of the work.

Part 3: Last Prophets. 1618. [1], 442-568 leaves.

Part 4: Ketuvim. 1618. [1], 572-908, 8 leaves. In the original there are an additional 26 unnumbered leaves. Colophon: 1619.

Printed almost page for page and line for line according to the Venice 1547-1549 printings, apart from Part 3 (the Last Prophets), whose pages have been abbreviated and thus are only 228 in number (as opposed to 245 in the original Venice printing). However, the body of the mikrah and most of the translation are printed exactly in accordance with the Venice printing.

Wear, professional restoration on some pages and some pages have been filled in from other copies, a few moth holes, handsome leather bindings, inscribed decorations on the binding, overall good condition.

Signatures and notes in Sefardi handwriting on the covers.
