1. Kinot for Tisha B’Av—Vilna and Horodna 1835. No binding, blank first page is detached but has a note from 1843(?) with the name: “Zvi Hirsch Wolf ben Asher” and an additional note with the name: “Hirsch Yakel Bentshin.”

2. Chiddushei Maharsha, second edition—Furth 1764. Title page has notes of ownership and a stamp from “Avraham Asher son of the publisher Aryeh.”

3. Mashmiya Yeshua by the Abravanel—Offenbach 1767. No binding. Title page: “David Levin” and more.

4. Sefer Chassidim in Yiddish. Vilna 1819, no binding, notes not checked thoroughly on the title page.

5. Ohalei Yehuda on the Mikra for teaching and studying, by Rabbi Yehuda Aryeh ben Zvi Hirsch, first edition. Yesnitz 1819, no binding, notes on the title page, at the end is the stamp: “HaZvi Yaakov Birdogo ben…Casablanca.”

6. Amudei Gola—Sefer Mitzvot Katan with commentaries—Kapost 1820, printed on light-blue paper, no binding or cover. The first page and the back of the last page have notes from Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Rabinowitz, Av Beit Din of Shevlien (?).

7. Mishnayot Seder Zra’im—Prague 1837, no binding. Blank first page has the signature: “Yitzhak Rosen Katz of Lask, son of Haim Yehuda HaKohen of Lask.” Under is an interesting note written as an acrostic: “Haim Yehuda ben David Katz of Lask.”

8. Shut Mahari of Tornoy—the Maharit, second section (first edition?). Furth 1768. No binding, there is a note: “Eliezer Yom Tov Lifa ben Hersh Koshoy 1928” with a stamp on the page before with the same writing.

9. Tur Orech Chayim, with the Beit Yosef and Darchei Moshe and more. Chernowitz 1841, note on the title page: “Avigdor…” not checked thoroughly.

10. Shevet Mussar—Wilhermarsch Darf 1838, no binding, last page has the note: “Zvi Hirsch.”

11. Mishnayot Seder Moed with the Rishon LeZiyyon and more—Dihernport, 1806, no binding, title page has notes and signatures that have faded or are blurred. Signature: “Zvi Hirsch…” The copy is probably missing the end of the work.

12. Tur Choshen Mishpat, with the Beit Yosef and Darchei Moshe and more—Berlin 1765, no binding. Various notes including: “I bought with my money for my needs Haim Bar…(?)”

13. Chiddushei Maharam b’Rabbi, second section. Prague 1823, no binding, title page has notes that weren’t checked thoroughly, blurred stamp with the name “Halperin.”


Various conditions and levels of completeness, the notes and signatures were not checked thoroughly. Most are in fair to good condition.
