Rare: Sefer Nevuat Ovadiya Al Edom. First (only?) edition, Edinburgh 1853.
Sefer Nevuat Ovadiya Al Edom “prophesied in 1790 before the coming of the Messiah in Hebrew with translations into Babylonian and Syriac and Western”, translation appearing under the text in three different scripts. Published by Robert Young, first edition (probably the only). Edinburgh, Scotland, 1853. Rare press with only a few books. [1], 8, [1] page. Bound with many empty pages of high-quality paper, gold page cutting, antique loose leather binding, no rear binding or spine. A rare and unique item not frequently found in sales, overall good condition.
The blank first page has the note of ownership: “From the library of Moshe Wollensky.”
