Exciting: a miniature siddur with a stamp of the Nazi German Navy. Redelheim 1893.
Miniature copy of “prayers, tachanunim, including prayers for the whole year”, Redelheim 1893. 416 pages. Pretty, illustrated prefatory pages with Stars of David, handsome plastic binding with a plaque of the Tablets and a matching clasp, light stains, faded gold page cuttings, small defect to the frame of the back binding, overall good condition.
Especially interesting: in the center of the title page is a Nazi stamp with an eagle standing on a swastika, and an inscription linking it with the Nazi Navy. This is probably from a Nazi collection which was intended for a museum in memory of the Jews and Judaism, which the Nazis intended to establish after completing the Final Solution, G-d forbid.
