Letter of Recommendation for the Institutions of "Toldot Aharon" by the Kabbalist Tzaddik Rabbi Yaakov Mutzafi Rosh Av Beit Din of Sephardic Haredi Community of Jerusalem
המכתב מתאריך כ"ח אייר תשל"ה. כתוב במכונה על בלנק מסמכים רשמי של הרב. עם חתימת יד קדשו וחותמתו בסופו.
רבי יעקב מוצפי (תר"ס-תשמ"ג) איש קדוש, מחשובי הרבנים והמקובלים מבגדאד שהתיישבו בירושלים. כיהן כאב בית הדין של העדה החרדית הספרדית. בצעירותו קיבל תורה מפיהם של המקובלים רבי אפרים הכהן, רבי שמעון אגסי ורבי צדקה חוצין בישיבת בית זילכה בבגדאד. בשנת תשי"א עלה לארץ ישראל והתיישב בירושלים, בה קבע את מקום לימודו ותפילתו בבית הכנסת שמש צדקה שייסד רבי צדקה חוצין, שם היה לשליח ציבור וכראש הישיבה למעלה משלושים שנה. נודע כמתנגד חריף לציונות ואסר על ההשתתפות בבחירות.
