A SET OF FOUR LARGE ICONS SHOWING THE FOUR EVANGELISTS Russian, 19th century Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. The garments with gold folds. The background stripped to gesso, later overpainted. On the reverse old label ‘ODIGIA: 1999-2005 Exposities Odigia-Ikonenmuseum’. 48.5 x 33.3 cm.
