Beit Yitzhak on the Torah by Rabbi Yitzhak of Vilna, a work collecting divrei torah the author heard in the name of various geonim. First edition. [3], 85, [1] leaves. The last page has an illustration of the menorah with holy names, plus an introduction by the author. This copy has the rare, additional colorful title page. Binding detached, no spine, brittle paper. Overall good condition.


Rabbi Ephraim Shmuel Lerner (1879-1962) was the son of Rabbi Mordechai, he served as rosh yeshiva of the Ashkenazi kabbalistic yeshiva Sha’ar HaShamayim in Jerusalem, was a founder of the Sha’arei Chesed neighborhood there, and founded the Gra synagogue there and served there as chazan for many years.
