Sefer Torah, Ashkenazi Beit Yosef script, wrapped around atzei hayyim, with a jacket.
Sofer script on parchment, Ashkenazi Beit Yosef style. Half is written in pretty, unique format, with pretty tags made to look like peacock feathers. The other half has had parchment pieces swapped out with work by other sofrim. Height of the parchment: 45cm. Height of the writing: 34cm. 42 lines per column. Many defects, holes in the parchment in several places, stains, wear, fading and erasures, not kosher.
Wrapped around atzei hayyim, missing one upper handle (see picture). Wrapped in a purple velvet jacket, with a dedication from 1957. Velvet belt with a plastic clasp.
