Psalms with commentaries – Lublin 1900. Copy of the Admor of Turka-Stretin.
Book of Psalms from the Kitvei Kodesh Min Esrim v’Arba. Two title pages, the first with red ink. [1], 149 leaves. Pages detached, antique leather binding, partially detached, light stains and tears, overall good condition.
Second title page has stamps of ownership: “Haim Yosef Langner of Turka ben HaRahatz.”
Admor Rabbi Haim Yosef Langner was the son-in-law of Rabbi Uri Langner of Rohatin—the third Admor of the Stretin dynasty, who was the son-in-law of Rabbi Avraham Brandwein, his predecessor. Rabbi Haim Yosef was the grandson of the Admor Rabbi Yehiel Michal the Maggid of Zlotchow, the Maggid of Mastrich, and the Baal Shem Tov. He served as Admor in Turka.
