1. Zerah Kodesh on the Torah, section on Genesis, by the Admor Rabbi Naftali Zvi Horwitz of Rufshitz,

student of the Chozeh of Lublin. Second edition, Przmyslan, 1906. [2], 37 [supposed to be 45] leaves.

Important approbations from the Divrei Haim of Sanz, Rabbi Yosef Shaul Natanzon, Rabbi Yehezkel

of Sinoa, the Ateret Yehoshua of Dzikov, and the Admor of Bikovisk. Stamps: “Moshe Klein, shoel

u’bodek in Iotore.” Binding detached, no spine.

2. Menorat Zahav by the Admor Rabbi Zusha of Anipoly, facsimile of the first edition. Based on the

memorial page it was printed around 1959.

3. Ahavat Yisrael, Seder Bereishit, by the Admor Rabbi Yisrael Hager of Vizhnitz (the Ahavat Yisrael,

named after this work). First edition, Grosvardin 1943. [2], 106 leaves. No rear binding or spine.

4. Volume containing many Chassidic works:

a. Zechut Yisrael, Tanina edition. Saini 1925. Two title pages.

b. Yoreh Derech on the Shas, by Rabbi Eliyahu ben Refael Rosenthal, Av Beit Din of Podoloy.

First edition, Saini 1925. [5], 51, [1] leaves. This copy is missing the title page.

c. Pamphlet Beer Hayyim Mordechai, “a responsum to free agunot taken from Shut books of the

Beer Hayyim Mordechai…” from the gaon and expert in hatarat agunot Rabbi Haim

Mordechai Roller, Av Beit Din of Targo-Niemitz, the Shut Beer Mayyim Mordechai. First

edition, Klausenberg 1923. In this work the author corresponds with the greats of his

generation, including Rabbi Meir Arik and others. Double copy.

d. Divrei Hillel, first section, by Rabbi Hillel Posk, Av Beit Din of Tetrevoner (Romania-Serbia),

son of Rabbi Eliyahu Posk, in which he discusses the psaks of the Maharil Tzirlson in his

book Atzei HaLevanon. First edition, Saini 1926. Colorful title page (colored by hand?), at the

end are names of subscribers. Perhaps missing one leaf after the title page.

e. Beit Hillel by the same author, “a sharp responsum, a din for a shoel u’bodek not acting

properly”, with the pamphlet “Minchat Eliyahu” with a separate title page, first edition, Saini

1924. Title page of the pamphlet lists 1925. At the end are names of subscribers

f. Azla Garesh, second section, “deep studies…chiddushei denim on halachot of gittin” by

Rabbi Eliyahu Posk, Ra’avad of Zrivka-Kherson, published by his son the above rabbi. First

edition, 1926. At the end are names of subscribers

The blank first page has a stamp: “Rabbi Yosef Zvi Katz, the Jewish community of Bucharest.|

Various conditions, defects, antique bindings, a few pages are detached, most in overall good condition.
