Travel ticket for a train for the kabbalat panim of the Admor of Satmar. Historical, rare, unique item. 1955.
Travel ticket given out by the Eida Charedit for travel in a special train between Jerusalem-Haifa for the kabbalat panim of the Admor of Satmar, who came by boat to Haifa.
On the back is a stamp of the Yeitev Lev Satmar yeshiva.
The Rebbe of Satmar’s visit in 1955 was one of the Rebbe’s four famous visits to Israel, visits that were accompanied by lots of activity, even the Zionist heads of state sent police forces to accompany him with cavalry,
the ultra-Orthodox community saw these visits as a special interest to show that they did not require money from the government.
