The Huts is an original work realized by Gaston Pastre in the first half of the XX Century. Black ink and pencil. Hand-signed in ink on the lower right corner: G. Pastre. Very good conditions. Fresh and smart work representing a perspective of a small village with trees on the background. The glimpse is characterized by very simple and linear strokes and by an effective and impressionistic touch. This work has been realized by Gaston Pastre (1881 - 1947) a French painter, xilographer and illustrator. Among his other works, he illustrated "Le Livre de demain" (edition Fayard), "Les diaboliques" (Cres, 1921) and Pierre Lot: "Romans Complets", Lafitte 1923.
