AN ARTHUR & BOND JAPANISE SILVER COCKTAIL SHAKER
A sterling silver Cocktail Shaker by Arthur & Bond, Japan, Yokohama. Shaker decorated with the carved image of a magnificent oriental dragon, entwining the middle of the vessel and a second smaller Asian dragon, placed on top and looking in the other direction, and a beautiful monogram placed on the lid. Marked on the bottom with Arthur & Bond Yokohama Sterling Silver.Arthur & Bond 1889-1923 - the English company based in Yokohama, in the Japan Meiji period. Their silverware pieces were very popular especially by English men living in Japan. Weight: 415.5 g.
