Softcover. Good preservation. There are minor soilings and scuffs. 

On the cover of the issue of June 18, 1932, the photograph is signed as "French-British negotiations on the eve of an international conference. Ramsay MacDonald and Edouard Herriot in front of the Ministry of International Relations in Paris". The issue contains memoirs of French Marshal Geoffrey Joffre and articles on politics and diplomacy. There is an article about the Claude Debussy monument, accompanied by photographs and colour reproduction of a portrait of Debussy. There is аn article on the Gustave Doré retrospective exhibition at the Petit Palais (Paris)and review of François Boucher retrospective exhibition.  Published article dedicated to the centenary of Gavroche (from whom Victor Hugo wrote the character of the same name in "Les Misérables"). There is an article on the expedition to China.  

There are black and white advertisements at the beginning and end of the issue.

L'Illustration, the first French illustrated newspaper, which was published from 1843 to 1944. In 1906 L'Illustration became the first illustrated magazine in the world and was distributed in more than 150 countries.

This legendary weekly magazine reported what was happening in the world for more than a century and made the history of the French and international press.
