Notes:

Work carried out around the 1880s within the first period of the artist in Valencia. During this stage he used to perform folkloric, mythological, orientalist and historical themes according to the taste of the time. In these years he visited Madrid and the Prado Museum on several occasions to study the great painters. At that time Joaquón Sorolla was defining his style and it can be seen in the brushstroke, although, even in his early days, it has been possible to highlight his ability to capture the attractions of realism and the capture of color.
