A complete copy of the first edition of Sefer HaChinuch, printed by Daniel Bomberg at Venice in 1523.
Although printed anonymously, Sefer HaChinuch is attributed to R. Aharon HaLevi of the 13th century.
In overall good-moderate condition. Title page and first 3 leaves restored, with stains. Stains and worming to several leaves. Worming affecting text at times. Final 3 leaves have undergone restoration, with a small portion supplied in facsimile. Bound in a beautiful full leather binding. Rare.
