Jacket for a sefer torah, handsomely done in velvet (copper colored) with embroidery of the Temple Mount. North Africa, 20th century
Embroidery of the Tablets with the Dome of the Rock on top. The background is in brown/orange/copper color. Colorful decorations, some faded (see picture). The top is hard with a matching embroidery, fringes in purple. Dedication above and below, in the center is the date 1952. Height: 70cm. Diameter of the top: 30cm. Fraying in various places, overall good condition.
