Prayer for the Welfare of the State of Israel - Printed in Teheran (Iran) during the Establishment of the State of Israel [1949?] - Extremely Rare
"This prayer was written by out rabbis in the Land of Israel the Chief Rabbis, Rabbi Herzog and Rabbi Uziel. Printed by their representative Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Levi Teheran. Beruchim printing press Teheran".
The leaf was published after 1949 and before 1953. Blue ink, with a frame.
A special item, remnant of a time when Jews in Iran prayed for the welfare of the Jewish State. It is common knowledge that the relationship between Iran and Israel had known ups and downs and today, such a prayer in Iran is totally unrealistic…
Extremely rare! Does not appear in the National Library and most likely in other libraries in Israel as well. It does not appear in the book "Ha'Tefilah Li'Shlom Ha'Medinah" by Yoel Rappel.
18x15cm.
Condition: Good. Folding marks.
