Хорошее состояние. Небольшие загрязнения переплета. Корешок потерт, мелкие порыв на нем. Сбиты уголки. Трещины на сгибе форзаца и нахзаца. Владельческая подпись на титуле. На страницах встречаются лисьи пятна, загрязнения.
Николай Петрович Вагнер (1829-1907) – зоолог и писатель. Получив степень магистра, а затем и доктора, он работал в Казани и Санкт-Петербурге профессором зоологии. Беллетристические произведения Вагнера печатались в различных русских журналах. Наибольший успех имели «Сказки Кота-Мурлыки». Они были проникнуты стремлением направить ум и чувство маленького читателя к подвигу и добру.
