NUMBERED BDM BRONZE BADGE & PROFICIENCY BOOK
Bund Deutscher Madel - BDM Leistungsbuch (Proficiency book League of German Girls) and matching numbered BDM membership badge in bronze belonging to Maria Rauscher from Straubing, Bavaria. The bronze badge is numbered 24834 on the reverse and is RZM marked M1/15 and matches the number entered in the book on page 19, dated 29.7.1937. The BDM was the girl’s section of the Hitler Youth (HJ). It was the only female youth organization in Nazi Germany.
