INDO PERSIAN MUGHAL EROTIC PAINTING W MANUSCRIPT
Indo-Persian Mughal Art style miniature gouache painting on antique manuscript leaf depicting an erotic scene of a couple painted in bold colors and with fine detail. Signed, lower left and on the right side. The back is carefully written with a Persian calligraphic text. Circa late 19th or early 20th century. Provenance: Sotheby's New York, lot #45.
