AN ANTIQUE CHINESE PORCELAIN PLATE, 19TH CEN.
An octagonal porcelain food warming plate. This plate was designed to keep food hot by pouring hot water into the plate. Hand-painted in a cobalt color, depicting a traditional landscape. With two handles on the sides. China, 19th-century. Unmarked. Provenance: Christie's, 06/4/2004, The Doris Duke collection.
