Royal Doulton Slater Patent, Stoneware Floral Vase
Olive green and brown glaze. Royal Dolton and Slaters patent, a decorative technique which involves lace fabric impressed into the surface was used for the middle band. Hand-painted blue and gilt flower decor.
Royal Doulton backstamp. Doulton & Slaters Patent backstamp. Good condition. No visible chip or crack. John Slater was the Art Director at the Doulton Pottery in Nile Street, Burslem, Staffordshire from 1877 to 1914. #JohnSlater #UK #stoneware
