Rare: Mei HaShiloach (Izbica, chassidut). First edition, Vienna 1860.

Mei HaShiloach on the Torah as well as likkutei Megillot, Neviim, Ketuvim, and Shas, a Chassidic work by the Admor Rabbi Mordechai Yosef Leiner of Izbica, published by his grandson the Admor Rabbi Gershon Chanoch Henich (the writer of the Tekhelet). First edition, printed by Lord Adelbert della Torre, Vienna 1860. Stefanski Chassidut 340.

Rabbi Gershon Chanoch Henich of Radzin (author of the Tekhelet) writes in his introduction that a sage (chacham) is preferable to a prophet, “and although I know that in some places these words will be difficult to appreciate for some who haven’t heard them before and who aren’t used to such things, but I have only gathered [these things] for those of us who know their value…”.

Rare book, difficult to find complete copies in good condition! 66, 26 leaves. Stains, light tear with some missing text to the 58th leaf, tape on leaf 59, otherwise good condition.
