A LARGE ICON SHOWING THE MOTHER OF GOD ‘JOY TO ALL WHO GRIEVE’ Russian, Vetka, mid 19th century Tempera on wood panel. Executed in bright colours on a gold ground. Six selected saints on the borders, the Guardian Angel, the Archangel Michael and Gabriel and St. Yulitta and Kirik among them. 44.5 x 37.3 cm.
