A SMALL ICON SHOWING CHRIST PANTOKRATOR WITH A CHAMPLEVÉ ENAMEL OKLAD Russian, circa 1900 (icon), Russian, Moscow, Semen Galkin, 1896-1908 (oklad) Oil on wood panel with velvet backing. Overlaid with a silver-gilt oklad. The parcel-gilt oklad with repoussé garments, the halo and Gospel champlevé enamelled in blue. Marked with assayer’s mark, 84 standard and master’s mark ‘SG’ in Cyrillic. 17.6 x 14.4 cm.
