Marc Chagall: Life and Works - big and thick book in first edition publ. by Harry N. Abrams New York in 1963, edited by Franz Mayer. The book consists of broad information on the artist's life and works, with many pullout images in color integrated among the book's pages and into the text. About 70 pages towards the end are dedicated to a large amount of b/w images of Chagall's works. English, hardcover without a dust jacket (slightly worn, large peelings on the spine and minor tears), inside in overall good condition, a third of the book is slightly bent and stained from an old moisture stain which did not cause any serious damage. 30x23 cm, 775 pgs.
