A LARGE AND FINELY PAINTED ICON SHOWING THE OLD TESTAMENT TRINITY Russian, circa 1700 Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. Executed with golden highlights. The garments predominantly in contrasting reds and blues. The background and border stripped to gesso, minimally restored. 74.5 x 53.8 cm.
