A MONUMENTAL VITA ICON OF ST. PARASKEVA Russian, Novgorod, circa 1500 Tempera on wood panel with kovcheg. The central panel showing the martyr saint full length holding a cross and an open scroll. Surrounded by twelve scenes from his life and martyrdom. The background and border stripped to gesso, horizontal cut restored, areas of retouching. 83 x 64.5 cm. reihen sich zwölf Szenen ihrer Vita und ihres Martyriums: Glaubensunterweisung und Literature: Eikon.
