Artwork description
Femininity fascinates me, and I try to create a resonance between the texture surrounding the portrait and the person himself. My goal is to capture the illusion of a woman's soul and tell a story through her image. The details that surround her are her experiences and feelings. Facial lines, expressive eyes, poses - these are the energy that dominates in my work, and the depiction of these details reflects the life that I experience as a woman. Constant experimentation with color and texture is a key element of my work.
About the artist:
Ekaterina is a Russian artist, whose paintings were exhibited at all-Russian and international exhibitions. She is a resident of the Swiss art gallery "Artcrossroad"
Created its own figurative language, interprets the balance between the spiritual and physical existence of Katya. Ekaterina mainly works with realism, depicting captivating stories with multi-level meaning. Catherine's original compositions were created using mixed media.
