THIRD REICH NUREMBERG PARTY RALLY SOUVENIR PLATE
Souvenir plate from the Nuremberg Reichs Party Day rally with vignettes of Nuremberg's famous historical buildings around the outer edge with the words 'Nurnberg die Stadt der Edlen Kunste Voll' (Nuremberg the city of noble arts) with the coat of arms of Nuremberg in the center. The six panels show the Imperial Castle of Nuremberg, the Albrecht Durer House, the Kaiserstallung, Our Lady's Church, the fountain on the Hauptmarkt or Adolf Hitler Square, and the Henkersteg. The dark patina is partially worn-off from the metal, mainly on the reverse. A small hanger is attached to the back. Approx. 9 inches in diameter with minor dents. Nice display piece.
