Boris Zaborov, a Soviet and French painter, graphic artist, sculptor, theater artist. An outstanding master of contemporary European art Boris Zaborov was born in Minsk in the family of the painter Abram Zaborov. Since 1981 the artist has lived and worked in France, in Paris, preferring easel painting, and in it, portrait and landscape genres. The style of the artists paintings of the 1980s–2010s is based on the authors interpretation of the artistic features of the art of studio photography at the beginning of the last century.
