AMERICAN INK PAINTINGS SKETCHES BY BILL FRACCIO

Bill (William) Fraccio (American, 1920-2005) a group of blue ink drawings on paper, depicting the study of male and female figures, and portraits on the front and on the back, 2005. These artworks are rare and unique. Some of the last works of the artist. These are some of the artist's latest works. William Fraccio was an American comic book artist whose career stretched from the 1940s Golden Age of comic books through 1979 when he turned to produce advertising art and teaching. He is best known for his 23 years run at Charlton Comics, where he illustrated, among many other things, the first two professional stories of future Marvel Comics editor-in-chief Roy Thomas. The often-uncredited Fraccio and his frequent art partner, inker Tony Tallarico, sometimes used the joint pseudonym Tony Williamson and, later, Tony Williamsune, on stories for Warren Publishing's horror-comics magazines Creepy, Eerie, and Vampirella. One of a kind artwork.

Dimensions: Paper 6" x 4" in. All measurements are approximate.
