The map belongs to one of the editions of the work "Theatrum Orbis Terrarum", published for the first time in Antwerp in 1570, edited by Aegidius Coppenius Diesth and dedicated to Philip II, whose Royal Cartographer Abraham Ortelius was from 1575.
