This print cites the Art Nouveau artwork of Alphonse Mucha (Czech, 1860-1939). Orlando Rafael Quevedo, a Cuban acclaimed artist, teacher and professor of art. Inspired by his three favourite artists, Peter Paul Rubens, Velazquez and Rembrandt, he continues to emulate these Grand Masters as he combines their techniques to create the light, drama and movement that clearly define the Baroque Style. At the young age of 42, celebrated Cuban artist, Orlando, is the nation's proponent of Magical Realism, a delicate combination of colorful architectural interiors gently mixed with illusion. His original oil paintings and limited edition giclees on canvas are widely collected not only for their striking interior subjects but also for their remarkable depiction of memorable works of master artists.
