Хорошее состояние. Утрачен один отдельный лист с иллюстрациями. Углы переплета и корешка побиты. Владельческая надпись чернилами на форзаце. На страницах встречаются владельческие пометы и росчерки карандашом.
Классический советский букварь. Отпечатано в Лейпциге, ГДР. Первое издание было подготовлено в 1965 году издательствами «Художник РСФСР» и «Просвещение» совместно с Академией художеств СССР на основе Букваря, составленного коллективом научных сотрудников Академии педагогических наук СССР и учителей Москвы и Ленинграда.
