ART DECO FRENCH HAND COLOR ETCHING BY LOUIS ICART
Louis Justin Laurent Icart, French, 1888 to 1950, oval hand colored etching on paper depicting an Art Deco scene with a lady and hounds dogs. Signed in pencil lower right. Inscribed in pencil, Commerce, and marked in the plate, copyright Bernart Corp., lower left. Circa: 20th century. Louis Icart is known for Sensuous female figure drawing and painting, fashion design. His creativity reached its peak during the Art Deco period, and the artist became a real symbol of this era while working in his own style, which relied on the art of French masters of the 18th century. Graphic art prints and collectibles.
