Judith Hall, American, born 1940, original hand colored etching on paper, Flowering Rush. Signed in pencil lower right. Titled in pencil lower left. Numbered 136 of 275 in pencil lower to the center. Framed. A paper sheet showing a printed text about the artist on the back. Judith Hall id a Modern American artist, printmaker. She begins her studies of animals and birds with a lot of field work, sketching and observing at close range. She strives to depict with her wildlife a little slice of life that is pleasing, familiar and appropriate to each subject. By employing the technique of etching, she achieves the finest of lines by drawing with a needle through a waxy ground she has placed on a copper plate. Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles.
