Includes a DBF Belgium tin box - De Beukelaer Fantasia Wafers box with a handwritten letter titled: Bank Book is speaking!; a vintage rectangular cigar box; a trinket box with hand carved birds and flowers motif; a keepsake box, possibly made of cedar wood, red velvet linen and oval mirror under the lid, complete with old black and white photo portraits of a lady; a large old fashioned shoe shine box. Vintage boxes, home decoration and collectibles.The present lot on auction form part of the Kuranda's family estate. The provenance of items can be tracked back to Felix Kuranda in XIX Century Austrian Empire, member of a well known family of bankers and politicians; directly related to the Karpeles, Wittelshofer, Milne And Lederer families. The most chronological recent lots are former belongings from USA veteran Major Thom Stellinger-Scott related through marriage with the Kuranda lineage. He was a veteran of Korean War as well as a reputed amateur photographer and artist. The Stellinger-Scott family resided for decades at Montauk Long Island NY.
