An impressive decoration for the upper part of the Torah Ark, made of copper. Most likely, work of Bezalel. Circa the early 20th century. (See pp. 165 of the book "Bezalel shel Schatz" – a sink for Netilat Yadayim).
Arch-shaped decoration. On the upper part, in the Bimah, a pair of lions holding the Tablets of the Law with the Ten Commandments. Relief. On the lower part, a row of 8 squares.
Width: 45cm. Height: 32cm.
Condition: Excellent.
