ToTza'ot Ha'Aretz. Scientific study of the Land of Israel. Part of a series of books authored by Rabbi Yehoseg Schwartz, one of the contemporary leading researchers of Jerusalem. This is actually the first guidebook that was printed in the Land of Israel about the wildlife of the Land of Israel. This this is also one of the first books that were printed in Jerusalem by Rabbi Yisrael Bak.
The composition is written with scientific precision, true to those days, and with charm.
The composition is divided into three chapters:
First chapter: the animal of the Land of Israel. Among others, it describes common animals such as the "Shunra Cat" and rare animals such as the bear and tiger.
Second chapter: plants.
Third chapter: stones and metals that can be found in the Land of Israel.
