Collection of letters, documents and lists:
Letter to Rabbi Chaim Dov by Yitzchak Gavrilowitz, 1931 (signature of another person); a leaf (most likely in his handwriting) with his memories about "Reb Favel", who was "a pure Jerusalemite symbol"; a leaf on matters of Kabbalah and prayer referring to Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld; a letter containing an invitation to a Brit Milah by Avraham Zussman (most likely the Bilu agronomist) of Hadera, 1925; letter by tzadok Chaykin to Tuviah Krupnik (the contractor who built the buildings of the first settlements in the Land of Israel), 1904; two letters by Mr. Schor, one of them with important Zionist content; interesting legal document about the lands of his son Nachum Weissfish.
Collection of envelopes with important inscriptions handwritten by Rabbi Chain Dov Cantor of Shfeya:
18 envelopes that were sent to him and which had contained letters (not included). Rabbi Chaim Dov's name appears on these envelopes as well as his address ("Shfeya near Zichron Ya'akov" or just "Zichrin Ya'akov"), handwritten by the sender. Most of the envelopes are from the 1930's and 1940's. One of them is of the Kamenitz Hotel of Jerusalem.
In addition, 4 empty envelopes in which he kept important documents and letters. On these envelopes, he wrote a list of the documents they had contained.
Among these handwritten inscriptions that describe the contents of the envelopes are the following: a bill of sale of vineyards before the Shemitah; a letter by the grandson of Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan about supporting a certain family; a letter by the committee of Zichron Ya'akov regarding the war tax of 1914; a certificate of Shfeya, 1921; a picture of the Baron Edmund [Rothschild] and Herbert Samuel; by the committee of Zichron Ya'akov that I was chosen for the magistrates court of Zichron Ya'akov 1925; letter by the Genius Kook about the Nachliel Company 1907. And more.
Condition: Fair-Good.
