The Booklet "Chagigat Ha'Torah"- Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin – the 28th of Sivan 1938 – Completion of the Second Cycle of the Daf Yomi at the Eve of the Holocaust – an Extremely Rare Relic
A booklet that was published to mark the completion of the second cycle of the Daf Yomi of Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin. 1938.
Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin was established in 1930 by Rabbi Meir Shapira of Lublin, the founder of the Daf Yomi. In 1934, the yeshiva completed the first cycle of study. The completion of the second cycle was also the last one of the yeshiva, which was burned down by the Nazis in 1940.
Condition: Good. The title page is detached. Natural wear. The margins are slightly torn. Time stains.
