Set of Machzorim (two volumes) for Rosh Ha'Shana, Yom Kippur and Shalosh Regalim – Vilnius, 1862. Printed by Yosef Reuven Bar Menachem Mann Rom. With "Korban Aharon" – "Beit Levi", "Mateh Levi" and "Ma'aseh Oreg".
Some of the title pages are in red ink.
On the title page, an inscription: "Rabbi Reuven Ze'ev Wolf Ha'Levi Goldstein of London was born on the third of Tevet 1829 … died … here in the holy city of Jerusalem and was buried on the Mount of Olives 68 years old…"
Inside the Machzor for Rosh Ha'Shana and Yom Kippur, leaf 4, a handwritten inscription, a story "told by the Maharil of himself when he was a prayer leader … changed the place of one of the Selichot and when he returned home, he found out that his eldest daughter had died and he attributed it only to this sin…"
Condition: Good. Wide margins. Time stains. Later binding, slightly peeling.
