Stretches over four pages in cramped writing, handwritten and signed, from 27th of Tishrei 1960, on issues a hearing aid during Shabbat. He shows his intellectual strength in understanding how these electronic appliances work, connecting them to halacht of Mishnah and Gemara. Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach (1910-1995) was a renowned Orthodox Jewish rabbi, posek, and rosh yeshiva of the Kol Torah yeshiva in Jerusalem, Israel. The Jerusalem neighborhood Ramat Shlomo is named after Rabbi Auerbach.
