Collection of hundreds of stamps from the Faroe Islands. Sets of four stamps published on the island in various years of the 20th century, all with the name of the islands.
Stamps on various subjects: vegetation, animals, politicians, culture, seamanship, sculpture and more.
The Faroe Islands are in the north of the Atlantic Ocean, between Scotland, Norway and Iceland. The Faroese have been a self-governing region within the Kingdom of Denmark since 1948. Other than foreign relations and security, the islanders are in charge of their domestic affairs.
